DHAKA, Aug 9, 2014 (BSS) - Speakers at a condolence meeting today said the ideology of Bangabandhu could not be erased by killing him as he would remain alive in the heart of the people of Bangladesh forever. 

 

 They said the killers of 1975 are still hatching conspiracy to deter the development activities of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in many ways and they are trying to create unrest and anarchy by instigating the readymade garment (RMG) workers over their wages and salaries. 

 

 The participants also called upon all patriotic people to remain alert against the deep-rooted conspiracies of the anti-liberation forces. 'Amra Suryamukhi,' a non-political organization, organised the discussion at Begum Sufia Kamal Auditorium in the National Museum in capital's Shahbagh area on the occasion of 39th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

 

 "Father of the Nation Bangabandhu was amongst us and would remain with us forever," Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique said this while speaking as the chief guest in the discussion. 

 

 Referring to the trial of Bangabadhu killers, the DU VC hoped that the rest of the killers, who remained into hiding in different foreign countries till today, must face the same fate like those who were meantime executed in connection with the gruesome killings in 1975. 

 

 Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the state-run news agency, Abul Kalam Azad said the plot of the '75 conspirators has not stopped even today. 

 

 'They (killers) are trying to push the present democratic government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, into trouble in many ways," he observed. 

 

 Referring to Tuba Garments issue, he said the vested quarter is vigil to create unrest in the RMG sector using the wages and salaries of 1600 workers. He urged all concerned to remain alert against them.
